Description:Reported missing in the Weekly Mercury of 7th October 1916. He had at that time been missing since 23rd July and his wife of 249 Bridge Street West welcomed news of him.

Private Ricketts was eventually reported as having died on 23rd July. He served with the 10th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
