Description:Private Flynn served in 14th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment and was just 19 when he was killed on 5th August 1916. The Weekly Mercury spells his surname wrong as "FLYLL" but it is definitely Private Flynn they are writing about. His parents Augustine and Carrie Flynn managed the Bell Hotel Public House at 57 Bristol Street. Flynn was one of the many who went to fight in the First World War and did not return.
