Date:10th of June 1916

Description:The funeral cortege of Private Harold Hackett who served in the 2nd Battalion, Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He was 26 years old and died at Eastbourne of wounds recieved while on service in France. The Royal Engineers from Great Brook Street Barracks provided the firing party. Hackett's parents were William and Caroline Hackett. William was a harness maker by trade and had at one point had a business in Warstone Lane.
