Description:This image was taken by Olive Dowdeswell from her balcony at Lansdowne House on Great Colmore Street. Lansdowne was part of the Bath Row Development - later to be named Lee Bank. this redevelopment took over ten years to complete. Behind the people waving farewell Lytham Croft is under construction - it is now to be demolished as part of the urban regeneration of Lee Bank.
