Description:Printed image for a Christmas Greetings Card for Lieut. Lempriere. Lempriere's aeronautical displays with balloons and parachutes attracted large crowds. He and his family lived and worked in Handsworth (169 Hunter's Road) for most of their lives. He regularly used lady parachutists but notice how his passenger in the balloon on this card is a well to do looking Victorian Gentleman.
