Description:Advert for Lieutenant Lempriere's show at Morecambe. The advert mentions Kitty King's 25 successful previous jumps, hopefully number 26 was equally so! The full text of the advert runs as follows:

'Drop from the Clouds to-night about 6.30 at the Summer Gardens, West End, Morecambe. Balloon Ascent by Lieut. Lempriere and Parachute Descent by Miss Kitty King, who has previously made 25 successful descents. The Grand Variety Entertainments as usual. Splendid Quadrille Band will play for dancing in the only Ballroom and outside Platform in Morecambe.'

Lempriere's aeronautical displays with balloons and parachutes attracted large crowds. He and his family lived and worked in Handsworth for most of their lives.
