Description:Photograph of ascent of balloon, over crowds and roof tops in Birmingham. Just below the basket can be seen the front of the Town Hall and, to its right, the Clock Tower.

Lempriere conducted his balloon ascents and parachute descents all over the UK. He resided at 169 Hunter's Road in Handsworth.
