These included church services, a birthday dinner, an art exhibition at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, theatre performances at the Birmingham repertory Theatre, The Alexandra Theatre, the Crescent Theatre and Hall Green Little Theatre, poetry, madrigals, folk dances, a film festival and a schools festival.
