Description:The Sons of Rest movement started in 1927, when a group of ‘Industrial Veterans’ met at Handsworth Park. The first purpose built building was built in 1930 and the movement expanded to over 3000 members in 29 parks. At Cannon Hill members meet to socialise and play games such as snooker and dominoes. This facility is open to retired gentlemen.
