Description:Although this object is often known as "The Moon Rock" or "The Meteor" this boulder, which stands on the edge of the lake in Cannon Hill Park, is thought to have been deposited by a glacier that ran from the Arenig mountains in Wales 18,000 years ago. It was found when the lake was excavated.
