Description:Pictures from The Dart (13th April 1883) of some of the police principals in the Ledsam Street dynamite conspiracy. Top left is Sergeant Price who was the first investigating officer. Mr MacReady is an "expert", who was probably used as a witness in court. The large middle picture is of the "laboratory" with presumably the chief conspirator Alfred Whitehead busy at work. Bottom left is Detective Superintendent Robinson and bottom right is the Chief of Police Mr Farndale.
