Description:The cover of 'Osmag', the magazine of Osler Street School, Ladywood, as it was in 1950, featuring a footballer who looks rather too beefy to be a pupil. "Osmag" was the chronicle of Osler Street Secondary Modern Boys' School. This lino cut cover, illustrating the academic and sporting strength of the school, was used as the front cover for editions issued in the early 1950's. Copies of some issues are available from the Ladywood History Group.
