23 Apr. School reassembles following the Easter holidays. The school football team has also won the Championship Shield of Div. III of the Kings Norton League.
May. Five candidates interviewed for Scale III P.E. Games post. The successful candidate was Mr. Sewell, at present at Langley JI School, Solihull.
24 May to 3rd June. School closed one week for Spring Bank Holiday.
During June every class in the school had a day's outing. For instance all the infants went to Weston-Super-Mare. Unfortunately it was an exceedingly wet day.
June. The new Headmaster has been appointed. He is Mr R.J. Cooper, at present Deputy Head of Highfield School, Saltley.
July 10th. An open day was held and enjoyed by all visitors. A musical performance called "The King of The Golden River" was given under the direction of Mrs. Chaloner.
18th July. The school breaks up on Thursday 18 July. Two teachers are leaving, Mr Thomas our sports master who has done sterling work here and also Mrs Goodwin after one year.
