Description:Postcard depicting the Council House in Birmingham illuminated to mark the coronation of King Edward VII. A crowd fills Victoria Square, although the message on the front of this early postcard makes no mention of the historic occasion. The coronation took place on 9th August 1902, having been postponed from 26th June on account of the king's illness.
