Description:The engineering partnership of Charles Fox and John Henderson was a great Victorian success story. They built the roof of the old New Street Station. They had a large hand in Paddington Station, built Oxford Station, Birkenhead Market, and accepted commissions as far afield as India and Russia. Acclaimed above all was their collaboration with Paxton to build the Crystal Palace in Hyde Park for the Great Exhibition of 1851.
