Description:"Affectionately known as 'Grizzly', Nisbett's powerhouse drumming has provided the sturdy backbone for Steel Pulse's brand of reggae music. Since the early day's of LP's like 'Tribute to the Martyrs' and 'Handsworth Revolution' the band has maintained a strong political stance. The band has toured the world, supporting artists like 'Sting', 'Herbie Hancock' and 'Santana', and they have made numerous performances at Jamaica's Reggae Sunsplash. Steel Pulse's early career saw them perform at clubs and pubs throughout Handsworth. Steve Nisbett now owns a pre production studio in Birmingham." Pogus Caesar, February 2003.
