Description:The silver sugar bowl with a blue glass liner is one of a pair on display at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

It was made by Matthew Boulton and Plate Company at the Soho Manufactory. The business had been set up by Matthew Boulton but following his death in 1809 was being run by his son, Matthew Robinson Boulton.
