Description:"Patrick Waite played bass with Musical Youth. In the early part of their career the band performed at Santa Rosa / Rialto club, Soho Road, Handsworth. Musical Youth recorded several hit albums and singles including 'Pass The Dutchie' (1982) and 'Never Gonna Give You Up' (1983). They also worked with Donna Summer on her hit single 'Unconditional Love'. Patrick Waite died in 1993 while in police custody, he was just 30 years of age." Pogus Caesar, February 2003.
