Description:"Don Shaw (Macro Films), Lenny Henry (Comedian / Actor), Carol Pemberton (Black Voices), Bob Ramdhanie (Black Voices Manager / Arts Activist / Broadcaster). We attended Reggae Sunsplash, London in 1987l. The Handsworth connection is that Macro Films were based at WMEMAS in Holyhead School. Also, in the early 1980's Bob Ramdhanie ran The Cultural Centre, Handsworth, he was responsible for giving a lot of young black people the opportunity to develop culturally and artistically. In return for teaching art to young African Caribbeans, Bob Ramdhanie gave me my first studio space at The Cultural Centre, for this I am eternally grateful." Pogus Caesar, February 2003.
