Description:Development of Balsall Heath was speeded up by the building of the railway in 1840 and the opening of Camp Hill Station. The second station in Balsall Heath in Brighton Road followed in 1875. Today neither station remains, although some of the steps are still there up to what was the platform at Camp Hill.
