Description:William Sands Cox, a local landowner, 1854. He founded Queen's College, a medical school in 1828 and Queen's Hospital in 1840. Money he bequethed at his death was used to build 3 dispensaries in Birmingham, one of them in Sherborne Road, Balsall Heath
