Description:East End Foods was formed in 1972 in Wolverhampton. It was founded by the Wouhra brothers who were originally from New Delhi, India. Having been established in Wolverhampton it moved on into Birmingham. In 2006 it opened the largest rice mill in Europe.
Their products are sold in huge quantities for both domestic and restaurant use. These large bags are shown on sale in a Ladypool Road market. Picture taken by pupils from Anderton Park Primary School as part of a project looking at how Ladypool Road has changed over the last 100 years.
