Description:Soho House, Handsworth, from the rear. It was the home of Matthew Boulton from 1766 until his death in 1809 and the meeting place of the Lunar Society.

This is the only known photograph showing the rear of service wing (to the right of the photo) before part of it was demolished in the early twentieth century.
