Date:5th of June 1915

Description:This profile, from the Sunday Mercury, is of one of their regular writers. Goldstein, of 35 Holloway Head. There was at this time a large Jewish community in the Holloway Head area with two synagogues in easy walking distance. Goldstein was probably born circa 1894 making him just about 21 - impressive indeed to find him already lecturing. The only Samuel GOldstein from Birmingham in 1901 was born then and the other possible Goldstein's are just too old or too young to be this man. He was born in Aston apparently.
