Date:21st of July 1915

Description:Picture World followed the recruitement and training of the men in the three Birmingham Pals Battalions of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. These men (from the 1st Battalion)are seen training in Yorkshire. The placename is not mentioned due to censorship. Men were named in other reports so in this case it is probably an oversight. We do know though that they are staff from Birmingham Library Services. The picture is by Hubert Homer from Handsworth.
