Description:This view was taken in the 1950's. There is no date listed other than that but there is the intriguing information that the picture was taken through a bus window. It had been involved in an accident and the question was whether or not the driver's view had been obscured so a re-enactment was set up and a series of photographs taken through the window. The bus was a Number 8 going up Lee Bank Road and it hit a vehicle coming out of Wheeley's Road - which is the road visible to the left.
