Date:5th of April 1993

Description:Another page of pictures from the Illustrated London News coverage of the discovery of the dynamite factory at 128 Ledsam Street. Top left is The Beaufort Hotel in Southampton Street, London where a conspirator named William Joseph Norman was in residence. Top right is Norman's room at the Beaufort. Nitro-glycerine was found in the box on the left of the picture (marked with a +). Middle right is the careful removal of the offending box from his room. Bottom left is another of the addresses associated with the plot in London - 17 Nelson Square. Bottom right are four of the men accused in the plot, Henry Dalton, William Hammond Wilson, William or Thomas Gallagher (two brothers were both accused) and William Joseph Norman.
