Description:This view of the "top end" of the street is of the Victory In Europe party held sometime shortly after VE Day in 1945. Those identified so far on the photograph are Sheila Woolridge (who is right front with arms crossed)and Mrs Elsie Garrett with daughters Maureen and Janet (who are on the left hand side, Elsie in the dark coat).
