Date:1973

Description:A view of the scaffolding around the new Library as it was being built. The two concrete pillars to the left and right of the picture are part of the Library structure. Intriguingly the picture also manages to show parts of (left to right): The Museum and Art Gallery, The Town Hall and the old Library. The new Library was and is a complete contrast to these buildings.
