Description:This image shows the rundown state of Lee Bank in 1999 just before the transfer of the area's housing to Optima Community Association. Since then the area has been, and still is being, substantially renovated. In most cases the existing housing has been completely replaced. The view is taken from inside one of the washing areas that were scattered across the area.
