Description:This view is looking up towards Victoria Square. This still looks somewhat familiar to the view today with the Art Gallery, Chamberlain clock and Council House visible in the distance. The right hand side is broadly similar too - the old Post Office building is just visible still to the right. On the left is the Hill Street Restaurant and Dining Rooms. I belive this is the site of the Golden Eagle public house, since demolished.
