Description:Ontario House is on the Benmore Estate. It is part of the regeneration and refurbishment undertaken by Optima Community Association on five estates in Birmingham. The Benmore estate's buildings and roads are named after Canadian places - Ontario, Halifax, Vancouver etc. The reason for this is not known but maybe the original developer had some affinity to the country.
