Date:15th of August 1919

Description:The Birmingham Municipal Bank was established on a permanent basis by the Birmingham Corporation Bill (it was previously Birmingham Corporation Savings Bank). The building is still there today (opposite the Hall of Memory) although is no longer in use as a bank. In March 2006 it was used as the set for a production of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" by Birmingham Opera Company.
