Description:This is taken from an official brochure for the Tower Ballroom during the 1920's. It is captioned as being the left promenade although it looks as though we are on the right hand side - perhaps it depends which way you look at it! The Tower Ballroom was a longstanding attraction at Edgbaston Reservoir for all manner of public functions, dances, ice skating and concerts. Among the bands to have played there were Joy Division, The Damned and U2.
