Date:July 1942

Description:The front cover of a typical issue of "Malt and Hops" which was the house magazine of Davenport's Brewery. The brewery was based on Bath Row and became famous for its "Beer at Home means Davenport's" slogan and song. This bucolic scene is a far cry from Bath Row at which the brewery was located.
