Date:1935
Description:Information on the church from a booklet published in 1935 as a guide to the services provided there. The Reverend at the time was J.P. Wilkinson M.A. This page from the yearbook offers some fascinating insights to church life. The first section, dealing with what the Church needs includes "the gift of dignified plants" and, less easy to donate, "A tower". The list of church activities is the usal mix you would expect. There is then a list of reasons to come to church in the first place including that "you will hear accepatable music from choir and organ"! Finally the Vicar invites us to come ant take up one of the 700 places available.
