Unveiling of the statue of Edward VII

Date:April 1913

Description:The statue to the late king was unveiled in April 1913 in Victoria Square. To the left is the statue of Edward's mother Queen Victoria. Victoria is of course still there today whereas Edward was relocated to Highgate Park where he remains today although the metal plates on each side of the base have long gone.
