Description:Two adverts for local businesses from the Oratory church magazine. Church magazines contained many adverts of this nature. Rudge, Brown and Co. were a coal merchants at Monument Lane Wharf off St Vincent Street. One of their employees was my ancestor Alfred Price who had come to Birmingham from London and earned a living loading coal.
