Description:These adverts are taken from the church magazine from the pre - First World War period. The first advert is for the Edgbaston Dye Works run W. and S. Ragg and son. who had two establishments - one at 69 Islington Row and the other at 166a Broad Street.

The lower advert is for F.B. Buswell Ltd who were a coal and coke merchants. Their main premises were at the Harborne Lane wharf but they also had premises at Stechford, Kings Norton and Monument Lane in Ladywood.
