Description:The old office of Boulton & Watt close to the original gates of Soho Foundry, Handsworth. The greater part of offices had to be pulled down c.1930, but the bay window front and its surrounding structure were carefully preserved, only to be destroyed by enemy action in December 1940. The clock survived and was rescued by the photographer.
