Description:Rising from the rubble of the old Rickman Drive, here we see construction of the new Rickman Drive. Since this picture was taken residents have moved in and the Great Colmore Street end of the Drive is now the carpark entrance for the newly built Etap Hotel on Bristol Street. In the middle distance can be seen Haddon Tower which is one of the last remaining tower blocks from the Lee Bank re-development in the fifties and sixties. It too is due for demolition within the next year.
