Description:Osler Street School in Ladywood stands as a backdrop for a portrait of three long-serving members of staff. On the left is John Welsh, headmaster in the 1970s when the school was closed and replace by Ladywood Secondary School. The other two are, on the left, art teacher Cecil Jones with 24 years at the school and, on the right, Harry Rolin who had taught for 47 years before his retirement in 1962. After its original closure in 1972 the school was brought back to life again twice, but 1981 saw its demolition.
