Date:2nd of September 1916

Description:Private Harry Rowley was reported missing in the Weekly Mercury of September 2nd 1916. He had last been seen on 27th September 1915 at Loos. His mother asked for information from any comrades and could be contacted at 107 Anderton Street, Ladywood.

Private Rowley is not listed on the Commonwealth War Graves Commission as being a casualty, unless he is the one from the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, which would mean he had changed regiment after the appeal was made for information.
