Date:1958 - 1962 (c.)

Description:This view looking up Islington Row, Lee Bank, towards Five Ways shows redevelopment under way on the south side of the road. This seems to be the site of the former BBC studios, which were between George Road and Enfield Road and were at this location from 1948 to the mid-1950s. On the far right Bath Row joins Islington Row. A date of around 1960 might be confirmed by the fact that pedestrians outnumber the cars.
