Description:Although the memorial itself cannot be seen this photograph was taken at the unveiling of the Kennedy Memorial at St Chad's Circus, Birmingham, on 8 July 1968. The memorial, a colourful mosaic with a pool in front, was paid for by an Irish committee from the church of St Catherine of Siena in Bristol Street and was unveiled by His Excellency Mr J.G. Molloy, the American ambassador to the United Kingdom. Also present was the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Alderman C.V.G. Simpson.
