Description:This small horse-drawn 'family omnibus', as the caption on the original postcard calls it, was photographed in St Vincent Street, Ladywood, presumably around 1900. It belonged to the London & North Western Railway Company, whose badge also appears in the top left corner, and is turned out so smartly it is a credit to the company. The caption also draws attention to its up-to-the-minute rubber tyres.
