Description:This advertisement for a Birmingham language tuition business is undated but must be Victorian. Mr (or perhaps Signor?) G.A.P. Pieri specialised in German, French and Italian and was based at 105 Bath Row. If potential clients were at all hesitant Mr Pieri was able to provide 'the most respectable references', written presumably by satisfied Brummies.
