Description:A view of the little row of shops in Bristol Road, Edgbaston, at the junction with Wellington Road, coming in from the right. The photograph was taken in 1979, looking southwards. Facing the camera is 49 Bristol Road, the Washerama laundrette, while the shop furthest away, no. 55/57, was once a branch of Wrensons, the grocers, who had branches all over the city in the 1950s and '60s.
