Date:1979

Description:A scene on the Worcester and Birmingham Canal in the Lee Bank area, with a boat heading for the Bath Row bridge and, less than a mile further on, the Gas Street Basin. Also in evidence in this 1979 view is the route of the disused railway line to the Midland Railway's former Granville Street station and Central Goods Depot. The track was immediately on the other side of the canal. The bridge in view is actually over the old railway line.
