Date:October - December 1941 (c.)

Description:View of the interior of St James' Church, Elvetham Road, Edgbaston, looking towards the west end with its gallery. This and other photographs taken in 1941 suggest that the church with its high window at the west end, dormer windows in the roof and rose windows in the transepts might have been a quite well-lit building inside. Apparently S.S. Teulon's 1852 church cost £3,000 to build.
